Overview
We've put together an amazing trip through the desert and the Atlas Mountains that will take you from Marrakech to Fez. It's a great way to explore Morocco, and we'll make sure you have a blast on the way.
We'll transport you in an air-conditioned, comfortable minivan accompanied by an English-speaking driver guide. You'll be able to see everything there is to see along the way—the beautiful sand dunes, the magical mountains, and more.
You'll sleep in a bivouac in the middle of the sand dunes. This means sleeping under the stars! And what better way to do it than with your friends?
You'll also dance around a bonfire at night with local musicians playing music for us all to enjoy.

Tour Plan
DAY 1: MARRAKECH TO OUARZAZATE
It's time to get out of Marrakech! The adventure begins with a short stop in a coffee shop for breakfast and drinks, then we're off to the high atlas mountains. We'll take Tizi n'tishka road through the Atlas Mountains and arrive in Ait benhadou—a group of fortified houses that was once an important stopping point for caravans between Marrakech and the desert.
After a stop at Ouarzazate, we'll check in to our 3-star hotel.
DAY 2: OUARZAZATE TO MERZOUGA
After breakfast, your driver will take you on a tour to explore Ouarzazate.
Start by visiting the Cinema museums and cinema studios that were featured in Hollywood productions like Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator.
We're off to Merzouga!
The next part of our journey takes us through the road of 1000 kasbahs—the road that connects the Sahara with Marrakech and the rest of the Atlas Mountains. Our first stop is Kellat M'gouna, where roses grow abundantly.
Our next stop is in Tinghir, a town that offers beautiful scenery and fresh air for you to enjoy. After that, we'll be making our way to Todgha Gorge, which is made up of a series of limestone river canyons created by the River Todra. Once you've had your fill of stunning views, it's time for another break so you can soak up even more beautiful scenery.
Upon your arrival to the desert, head off on camelback into the sand dunes of Merzouga. You'll check into your tent (photos attached), have dinner served under the starry sky, then get ready for some local music around a bonfire with other fellow travelers !
DAY 3: MERZOUGA TO FEZ
Starting day 3 with an early wake-up call and a trip to a high sand dune to watch the sunrise. After you've had your fill of the sunrise, we'll backtrack to our camels and head out on our journey through the desert!
Once we reach our destination, you'll have breakfast at a hotel and shower off the sand from your body and hair. Then it's back on the road for your 3-day desert tour!
Today, we're off to Fez, over the middle Atlas mountains. We'll start with a panoramic view over Ziz valley, then have lunch in the Berber village of Midelt.
After that, we'll head to the Cedar forest home to the Barbary monkey. Finally, we'll arrive in Fez and drop you off at your hotel—the end of your 3 days Desert tour adventure!
